About This Blog
- An introduction and instructions for this weblog –
Welcome to the information and news blog for the College of Arts and Sciences at Lee University. While this is intended primarily for internal communication, we hope interested parties will feel free to share any pertinent information with anyone they wish outside the college.
The news blog has three main sections. The first is the main news section, where new stories will be featured in chronological order. Older stories that have cycled off the page will be found in the archives, which you can access in the menu to the right. The calendar there will highlight days (in bold) where information was posted. There is also a convenient “Browse” button with a drop down menu that will take you to specific days and their news items. If that’s not enough, you can use the “Search” button to find an archived story or check one of the “tags” for content.
The words “Lee University” at the top of the blog will take you to the blog Home page. The tab titled “About” is for this page. The tab “Faculty Spotlight” will feature someone from in our midst that we hope will serve as a way for us all to get to know one another better. In fact, if you spot someone at a meeting you don’t really know, but would like to, just give us a hint and we’ll be sure to follow up.
Finally, this blog is really about interactivity, and that means that when you read new posts you can make comments of your own. By clicking on the post title you will be taken to a sub-page that contains only that story in full format. At the bottom you will see a comment box. Don’t be shy—and don’t worry, the comments will be monitored “just in case.” Just remember that the purpose of this blog is to inform and connect the people of our school. Any feedback from our readers is greatly appreciated. Thanks to the continuing work and effort of all our colleagues, we hope to build an informed online community.
