Lee Gets Grant to Train Math Teachers
Lee University has been awarded a $750,000 from the Tennessee Department of Education to provide training for seven school systems in the teaching of mathematics at the middle-school level. The three-year grant was announced in Nashville by Governor Phil Bredesen and Education Commissioner Lana Seviers.
